SQL Part 1: SQL SELECT Queries (Virtual Instructor-led)

About this event :

SQL Anatomy

Course Description

Intro to SQL: T-SQL is the second of two SQL classes being offered to help prepare database and network administrators as well as report writers to use applications such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports. SQL is the programming language used to create queries against common BI projects and tools as well as manipulate data and manage the server.

SQL SELECT Queries define the logic used to extract data from any SQL database. Report writers, DBAs, and network administrators will be able to use well formed queries to build necessary reports.

The SQL SELECT Queries course is the foundation for an understanding of relational databases and extracting the data needed for reports. SQL is a very simple language which can be combined into highly complex queries to handle any type of database query. The companion T-SQL course covers topics essential to database management and the student has taken this Queries class. This course is designed for report writers, beginning DBA, and network administrators.
