Pine Technical College (Pine City, MN)
George has maintained a long and close relationship with MNSCU and serves as a Training Consultant in PTC’s Continuing Education program. Together PTC and STI have provided training ranging from short workshops on Social Media and Entrepreneurship to Extensive MOS certification programs for organizations such as AT&T.
I have had the pleasure of working with George Sawyer the past several years both at North Hennepin Community College and now at Pine Technical College. George is extremely talented in the computer technology arena both as an instructor and as a consultant.He brings to the classroom a wide range of real world consulting and training experience. He has one of a kind style that all our clients have truly appreciated it. Washington County, MN (Stillwater, MN)
STI has been the go-to training provider for Washington County when it comes to end-user training. George is known for his ability to connect with end-users and convey complex technical concepts in understandable terms. STI has provided extensive SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services training to Washington County staff to support their Manatron tax system and is currently providing end-user training to 1200 users to support their SharePoint 2010 implementation.
Itasca County, MN (Grand Rapids, MN)
Sawyer Training provided transition training for Itasca’s 2011 upgrade from Microsoft Office 2003 to Office 2010. Almost 300 users were training in Word, Excel, PPT, and Access in addition to basic digital literacy. Itasca’s project was custom developed with less than two weeks notice and delivered on-site with hands-on training using STI’s 16-seat laptop lab.
AT&T (Minneapolis, MN)
STI, in partnership with Pine Technical College, provided Microsoft Word and Excel 2007 certification training to 130 employees. Many of these employees had little or no experience on computers yet still showed over 30% improvement in skill level in their first class with a 42% exam pass rate. STI provided ILT, assessments, custom materials, and certification testing services.
